Egg Whites International Review
Pros
- Cage free eggs
- Pasteurized
- Smooth like water
Cons
- Slightly salty taste
- Can take up refrigerator space
Let’s dive right into my experience with Egg Whites International.
Let me start by saying I’m new to the egg whites game.
I’ve had my share of drinking whole raw eggs.
But I’ve never tried anything like Egg Beaters or Muscle Egg.
… Until a few weeks ago.
And because they use cage free eggs (in other words, the animals are treated more humanely), I decided to start with Egg Whites International.
Here’s what I ordered:
Because Egg Whites International liquid egg whites were a new product for me, I decided to keep my order small.
So I ordered a half gallon and added on the pump to my order.
… and here’s what I got:
In addition to the liquid egg whites and pump, Egg Whites International sent me a mishmash of promotional materials.
I got a pamphlet, a magnet and a tank top.
Nothing like adding another tank top to my workout arsenal. πͺ
Egg Whites International Review: Effects
It was my very first time using Egg Whites International.
And so I was a little nervous about what it would taste like.
I decided to start with 4 ounces of liquid egg whites mixed with 4 ounces of my favorite chocolate milk.
As I poured in the chocolate milk, I was surprised.
It just looked like a glass of… chocolate milk.
And it tasted just like a glass of… chocolate milk.
If I hadn’t made the mixture myself, I never would have guessed that there were liquid egg whites inside.
In other words, the egg whites were tasteless when mixed with a drink.
But what about keeping me full?
On workout days, I find that I’m pretty hungry throughout the day.
But I noticed that with my 4-ounce serving of liquid egg whites combined with equal parts chocolate milk, I was full for about 4 hours after drinking it.
Egg Whites International Review: Ingredients
Egg Whites International liquid egg whites ingredients consist of pasteurized cage free egg whites.
That’s it.
Next.
Egg Whites International Review: Serving Size
Egg Whites International recommends an eight ounce (one cup) serving of their liquid egg whites.
According to Egg Whites International, the measurement of their liquid egg whites is as follows:
π₯ 3 tablespoons = 1 whole egg
π₯ 2 tablespoons = 1 egg white
π 1 pump = 1 ounce or 1.25 egg whites which is the equivalent of 3.25g of protein
π 1 cup (8 pumps) = 26 grams of protein
Egg Whites International recommends you consume 1 gram of protein for every pound of lean body weight daily.
For example, I use this lean body mass calculator:
This represents a male who is 5’7” and weighs 200 pounds.
Depending on the formula, his lean body mass is between 127 and 139.
Thus, he should be taking between 127 and 139 grams of protein daily (according to Egg Whites International):
Egg Whites International Review: Flavor, Taste, Color and Consistency
Unlike some of their competitors, Egg Whites International doesn’t add flavor to their liquid egg whites.
All you get is cage free, pasteurized egg whites.
To my surprise, Egg Whites International liquid egg whites almost taste like… nothing.
There was a slight salty flavor which I didn’t care for.
However, it was subtle.
And like I mentioned earlier, I didn’t notice the taste when mixed with chocolate milk.
The color is a light yellow-ish:
In addition, these liquid egg whites are not slimy.
In fact, they are as smooth as water.
Egg Whites International Review: Convenience
Egg Whites International liquid egg whites can be convenient.
IF you play your cards right.
Let me explain:
Their tubs don’t come with a pump.
The result can be messy with inconsistent measuring.
However, if you get their pump, serving becomes streamlined and efficient.
The pump is easy to assemble and attach to your tub.
Each push of the pump dispenses one ounce of liquid egg whites.
For example, if you want to drink one cup of egg whites, you simply push the pump eight times.
The pump also prevents messes and spills that piss me off.
Egg Whites International Review: Cost
Egg Whites International has a pricing structure where the more you order, the less it costs:
Amount | Cost | Cost per 8-ounce serving |
1/2 gallon | $32 | $4.00 |
1 gallon | $49 | $3.06 |
2 gallons | $72 | $2.25 |
6 gallons | $204 | $2.13 |
8 gallons | $264 | $2.06 |
Egg Whites International Review: Recipes
Earlier you saw me mix Egg Whites International with chocolate milk.
But here’s another favorite that is not only delicious, but keeps me full throughout the day.
I call it… the Cullen Megascramble.
And here are the ingredients:
π one cup Egg Whites International with sauteed potatoes and green peppers
π three slices of Beeler’s uncured bacon
π one half avocado
I start by warming up the skillet with a little bit of butter so the egg whites don’t stick.
Then I pour one cup of liquid egg whites over medium heat.
Next, I add in previously sauteed potatoes and green peppers (about a half cup each).
Time out: Look at this fluffy deliciousness.
After the liquid egg whites are cooked through (about 4 minutes), I transfer them to a plate and take an Instagram-worthy photo:
Finally, I add a few pinches of shredded cheese (optional):
And there you have it: a protein-packed breakfast that keeps me full throughout the day.
Egg Whites International has some of their own recipes you can try out, too.
Egg Whites International vs Egg Beaters Original
Now let’s see how Egg Beaters Original stack up to Egg Whites International.
I’m showing you these factors:
- caged or cage free
- serving size
- ingredients
- taste
- cost
To cage or not to cage?
As I mentioned, Egg Whites International liquid egg whites come from cage free chickens. π
That is likely not the case with Egg Beaters.
Notice there is no mention of their eggs being cage free on the Egg Beaters Original carton:
Ingredients
Egg Whites International liquid egg whites consist only of cage free, pasteurized eggs.
But as you can see, Egg Beaters Original has multiple added ingredients.
Some of them are vitamins, which doesn’t upset me.
What I don’t like is the added:
β xanthan gum
β guar gum
β color
It’s just extra stuff I don’t think my body needs.
Serving Size
Here are the recommended serving sizes for Egg Whites International and Egg Beaters Original:
Egg Whites International | Egg Beaters Original | |
Serving size | 8 ounces | 3 tablespoons |

Taste, Color and Consistency
I mentioned before that Egg Whites International liquid egg whites:
β have minimal taste
β are light yellow in color
β smooth like water
Unlike Egg Whites International, Egg Beaters Original:
π€· taste eggy
π€· are the color of orange juice
π€· have the thick consistency of beaten eggs
Egg Whites International vs Egg Beaters Original: Verdict
In my opinion, Egg Beaters is geared more towards the casual egg white eater.
On the other hand, Egg Whites International are marketed toward people who want the added benefit of building muscle and losing weight.
