TLDR: Redcon1 GI Juice Review

🍇 Redcon1 GI Juice is meant to aid in digestive health while giving you 8 full servings of fruits and vegetables.

🦠 It helps your gut do its thing.

🥕 And it can be good for those who just don’t eat enough fruits and vegetables.

➡️ TRY REDCON1 GI JUICE ⬅️

What is Redcon1 GI Juice?

For starters, it’s a clever play on words.

Rather than GI Joe 🪖, it’s Gastro Intestinal (GI) Juice 🦠.

Redcon1 GI Juice is is a digestive enzymes powder mix meant for your gut.

GI Juice also gives you a boost of superfoods like blueberries, acai and broccoli.

They’re rich in micronutrients that:

  • aid in digestion
  • break down fats
  • convert food into energy

And more.

It contains 8 full servings of fruits and vegetables.

That’s almost double the recommended daily dose.

And why should you care?

Because getting the recommended daily dose of fruits and vegetables is associated with a lower risk of death from:

✅ cancer

✅ respiratory disease

✅ heart disease or stroke

And lower risk of death overall.

GI Juice also helps keep you regular.

Simply stated, it makes you poop. 💩

What are digestive enzymes?

Simply put, digestive enzymes help you break down the food you eat.

They are proteins that accelerate chemical reactions that make nutrients easier to absorb in the digestive tract.

There are different types of digestive enzymes such as:

✅ Lipase – breaks down fats

✅ Protease – breaks down proteins

✅ Amylase – breaks down starches and carbohydrates

Digestive enzymes are naturally found in your liver, pancreas, gallbladder and saliva.

But they’re also found in foods such as honey, mangoes, papaya and avocado.

Avocados contain digestive enzymes

Oh yeah, and they’re also found in Redcon1 GI Juice.

Now let’s take a deep dive into what makes Redcon1 GI Juice my go-to, comprehensive greens and digestive enzymes mixture.

I think this product is ideal for:

  • protein-heads (it gives you multiple servings of fruits and veggies)
  • people with digestive issues
  • people with bloating issues
  • veggie haters

And those who just want better gut health.

Redcon1 GI Juice Review: Effects

I’ve noticed several differences when I started drinking GI Juice greens and digestive enzymes in 2021.

Generally speaking, my body feels optimized throughout the day.

What I mean is that I feel focused, alert and balanced.

And… well… Redcon1 GI Juice makes me more… Regular.

Yes, I poop better.

That’s a big bonus considering that some supplements can make me constipated.

That said, I have noticed the gurgles in my belly to be more prominent when I take the recommended dosage of GI Juice.

I think preparing GI Juice is pretty easy:

Step 1️⃣: Add one level scoop of GI Juice to a glass.

Step 2️⃣: Add 10-12 ounces of water.

Step 3️⃣: Stir the brew.

Step 4️⃣: Drink and enjoy!

Note: It’s recommended you take GI Juice before or with breakfast.

Redcon1 GI Juice Review: Ingredients

Redcon1 GI Juice is packed with greens and enzymes:

Redcon1 GI Juice review: Ingredients

In fact, Redcon1 claims that GI Juice contains the equivalent of 8 servings of fruits and vegetables in every scoop.

So there’s this thing called Green Blend that’s a critical component of GI Juice.

Green Blend is not one ingredient. ❌

Not two ingredients. ❌

It’s not even five ingredients. ❌

In fact, Green Blend is 18 ingredients. 😱

Green Blend consists of 11.25 grams per serving of powdered:

In addition, you’ll find these powerful enzymes:

Betaine HCL250mgincreases stomach acid
Amylase100mgaids in breaking down carbohydrates and starches into sugar
Protease100mgbreaks down proteins into amino acids
Pepsin50mgbreaks down proteins during digestion
Papain50mgbreaks down proteins into peptides and amino acids
Pancreatin50mgconverts food into energy
Ox Bile Extract30mgaids in digestion
Lipase25mgbreaks down fats
Bromelain10mgfights pain and swelling
Cellulase10mgbreaks down cellulose into simple sugars

You’ll also find inactive ingredients like sugar, silica, citric acid, malic acid, natural and artificial flavoring, calcium silicate and sucralose.

And the low sugar content (5g per serving) in GI Juice can mean improved digestion.

Redcon1 GI Juice Review: Flavor, Taste, Color and Consistency

Redcon1 GI Juice currently comes in two flavors: Grape and Pineapple Banana.

Now I’ve gotta be honest: Redcon1 GI Juice is probably not the most delicious thing that’s ever entered my body.

For instance, I bought the Grape flavor. 🍇

Annnnnd, it doesn’t really taste like grapes… More like a hot prune with a grapey aftertaste.

Not my favorite.

But not the worst either.

And honestly, I got used to it after a couple of days.

There was another small issue:

It seemed like no matter how much I mixed it, there was still some sediment at the bottom of the glass.

But that’s typically unavoidable with greens and digestive enzyme mixes.

Just give it a few swishes when you’re nearing the end of your drink.

Redcon1 GI Juice Review: Convenience

GI Juice doesn’t come in the standard tub you might be used to with Redcon1 products.

Rather, it comes in a 30-serving tub that’s about 6 1/2″ tall and 3 1/2″ in diameter.

So it’s more of a store-at-home kind of container as opposed to something you want to bring on the go.

Redcon1 GI Juice Review: Cost

A 30-serving tub of Redcon1 GI Juice costs $39.99, or about $1.33 per serving.

At this time, Redcon1 does not offer a Ready To Drink version of GI Juice.

Athletic Greens vs GI Juice

So how does GI Juice compare to one of the industry greats like Athletic Greens?

Well for starters, there’s a HUGE difference in price.

As I mentioned, GI Juice costs about $1.33 per serving.

But Athletic Greens costs a whopping $3.30 per serving. That’s $99 for a 30-serving package! 💸

So if you’re on a budget, I think Redcon1 GI Juice is the clear winner. 🏆

But price aside, there are some other core differences in Athletic Greens vs GI Juice.

For starters, the superfoods found in Athletic Greens are a bit different than those found in GI Juice:

Athletic Greens superfood complex (Image courtesy of Athletic Greens)

In addition to greens and digestive enzymes, Athletic Greens boasts over 18 vitamins like:

✅ Vitamin A

✅ Vitamin C

✅ Magnesium

✅ Zinc

And more.

In my opinion, the added vitamins found in Athletic Greens are a bit excessive if you’re just looking for a digestive enzymes supplement.

Athletic Greens also contains probiotics and antioxidants.

Simply put, there are a LOT of ingredients in Athletic Greens.

This can be beneficial or detrimental, depending on your goals and your existing regimen.

For example, there are over FIFTY ingredients in Athletic Greens.

GI Juice comes in at about 30 ingredients.

So if you’re strictly looking for greens and digestive enzymes, I think Redcon1 GI Juice is the way to go.

But if you’re looking for the whole enchilada with the possibility of explosive diarrhea 🧨💩, maybe Athletic Greens is for you.

Redcon1 GI Juice Review: Conclusion

So is Redcon1 GI Juice worth it?

In my experience, yes.

It’s packed with 8 servings of fruits and vegetables.

Which can otherwise be tough for me when I’m focused on my protein game.

Plus the digestive enzymes keep me regular which is a huge bonus.

And ingredient-wise it’s more simple than compared to competitors like Athletic Greens.
